Thank you for taking the time to look at my portfolio! My name is Mercy and I'm a 2nd year Psychology student at UCLA, minoring in Digital Humanities.

Art & Design has been a main interest of mine since childhood. I loved the freedom of expression and creativity it allowed me. As someone who moved around a lot, art was something that was able to ground me. From Windows Paint (using a trackpad!!) and Sony Vegas Pro to Procreate and After Effects, I always found a way to stay true to myself.

To me, UX is the intersection of Psychology and Art - you have to understand who you're designing for in order to appeal to them! Whenever I design, I try to truly empathize and think from outside my own perspective. It's like a way of connecting with people and having an impact on them.
